Children under 10 must be accompanied by a participating adult – one child per adult
If the child is unable to stand securely/still the accompanying adult will be required to carry the child for the duration of the program
Guests 10-17 years do not need an adult accompanying them to participate but must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

Enjoy an All-Ages Interaction With a Sea Lion

The Sea Lion Encounter is your chance to stay dry while meeting our South American sea lions up-close. Our sea lions are very social, and will come right up to you, allowing you to touch, snuggle, and pose for the cutest pictures ever. Spend quality time playing sea lion games, feeding them fishy treats, and learning all about these incredible animals.

Meet South American sea lions up close and face-to-face through touch and play activities.
Hands-on sea lion interaction that takes place on dry land.
Offer hand signals, touch, feed, and play with sea lions during this unforgettable experience.
Our unscripted program is designed to be both personal and always unique.
Learn how we care for these amazing animals and how you can help protect them in the wild.
Personalized photos of your experience will be available for purchase after your program.
Your participation in this program helps Coral World Ocean Park support critical marine life conservation efforts.

Restrictions & Requirements

Participants must understand basic instructions in English in order to safely participate.

For the safety of our guests and animals, only paid participants are permitted in the sea lion area.

Our photographers will take photos of your experience. Photo packages will be available for purchase at the Go Fish gift shop following your experience!

Personal cameras, cell phones and other belongings can be stored in guest locker and are not permitted in the program.

Please remember to use only Coral Safe Sunscreen in the USVI – It’s the law.
