Shark Talk

Time: 9:30AM – 9:40AM
Date: 7 days a week
Location: Shark Shallows
Details: The inhabitants of the Shark Shallows may include nurse, lemon, and blacktip sharks. During the talk you will have the opportunity to learn about these amazing and very misunderstood animals. Coral World collects the sharks in its exhibits from local waters and Shark Shallows serves as a head start program for sharks – When the juvenile sharks reach a certain size and are less likely to be prey for larger predators, our marine operations staff tags and releases them to the sea.

Dolphin Talk

Time: 10:00AM – 10:10AM and 2:30PM – 2:40PM
Date: 7 days a week
Location: Dock of the Dolphin Education Center
Details: Join our Animal Welfare Specialists at the Dolphin Education Center for an opportunity to learn about the intelligence and agility of dolphins and the importance of respecting the integrity of the marine ecosystem in which they live.

Aviary Feeding

Time: 10:00AM – 12:00PM
Date: 7 days a week
Location: Varies throughout the seasons, see park map upon arrival.
Details: Discover rainbow lorikeets and a couple rescued local conures, local parakeets of the US Virgin Islands. The brown throated conure or “St. Thomas parakeet” helps our local forest ecosystems by dispersing seeds across the territory. These very sociable birds give our guests an opportunity to watch their amusing antics up close.

Turtle Talk

Time: 10:30AM – 10:40AM and 1:30PM – 1:40PM
Date: 7 days a week
Location: Turtle Encounter Pool
Details: Visit one of our green sea turtles and watch as she engages in training and tactile interaction with one of our aquarists. Learn about the dangers green sea turtles face throughout the world and what you can do in your day-to-day life to help save them.

Caribbean Reef Encounter Feeding & Presentation
