An Unforgettable Encounter

Engage in playful interaction with our dolphins in a sea sanctuary designed to provide a safe and natural environment that emphasizes the well-being of our dolphins. Splash into dolphin fun on a platform in shallow water then move into deep water where you will share the dolphins’ natural environment and experience their intelligence, agility, and gracefulness. Your knowledgeable animal welfare specialist will share fascinating facts about dolphins and their behavior.

What to Expect

Meet dolphins face-to-face in their ocean habitat at the St. Thomas Sea Sanctuary.
Meet your dolphin while standing on a submerged platform with the opportunity to enter deep water and continue your playful interaction.
Offer hand signals, touch, feed, play with, and swim with a dolphin during this experience depending on your dolphin’s and your personalities.
This unscripted program is designed to be both personal and always unique. We do not offer foot pushes or dorsal fin tows.
Learn how we care for these amazing animals and how you can help protect them in the wild.
Personalized photos of your experience will be available for purchase after your program.

Restrictions & Requirements

You must understand basic instructions in English.

Bring or wear swimwear with cover-up & a towel, cash or credit card for additional purchases such as food and drink, souvenirs, and photos.

Participants must be comfortable in water approximately 20 feet deep with natural ocean conditions that can be wavy.

Please remember to use only Coral Safe Sunscreen in the USVI - It's the law.

Our photographers will take photos of your experience. Photo packages will be available for purchase at the Dolphin Shop following your experience.

Personal cameras, sunglasses, cell phones and other belongings can be stored in guest locker and are not permitted in the program for safety reasons.

Participants must be able to manage a flight of stairs.

The staff was so amazing!!

I spent my second day on the island at coral world and I had the absolute best experience. Had the pleasure of swimming with Nola the dolphin and she was so sweet and outgoing. All of the staff were so helpful and knowledgeable about all of the animals. The sea trek was fully booked the night before we came so we decided to swim with dolphins instead, but we got SO lucky and were able to book our spots the morning of!! Again, I cannot stress this enough the staff was so amazing!! I already cannot wait to come back to the islands and I will be back!

Bucket list checked!

We had a great time at Coral World! We went specifically for swimming with the dolphins & it was an amazing experience!! My kids are 8 & 11 and this was the time of their lives! Bucket list checked! Isaac was a great host & Renee was an amazing trainer! Our girl Noelani the dolphin was so fun & personable!! She is gentle & super vocal! Would recommend to anyone looking for a once in a lifetime experience!!

The best thing we did on St.Thomas

My family of two adults and two kids swam with the dolphins and had the most amazing experience! Loki, the dolphin, was so sweet and friendly. The trainers Jasmine and Cari (spelling sorry!) were just excellent! They were so attentive to the kids to ensure they felt safe on the platform. They were informative, fun, and so knowledgeable. Its obvious they are passionate about their jobs and truly care for the animals. This experience was the best thing we did on St.Thomas and absolutely worth the cost. Highly recommend!
