April 15th, 2010 - Lionfish Awareness and Management Meeting with Local Dive Operators at Coral World Ocean Park
In an effort to promote awareness on the threats that the Lionfish invasion poses in the Virgin Islands, Coral World will host a meeting at 2:30pm in the Marine Gardens exhibit.
The goal is to further educate dive operators on the presence of this invasive species, the dangers it represents to our marine ecosystem and action plans developed by Fish and Wildlife. A public meeting will be scheduled for May - stay tuned for further details.
